We actually are a house of cards...

For nearly 45 years the owner of House of Cards has been collecting sports cards.  It started when he was waiting for the school bus at his aunt & uncle's convenience store.  Once and a while they would slip him a pack of cards.  Over the coming years those cards would go into shoe boxes where they would sit.

Home for a college break, he took the cards to a LCS and discovered many were very valuable.  It was at this point that he began exhibiting at Boston area card shows on weekends.  It wasn't long before his card and autograph collection became exceptionally large.

Shortly after college graduation he decided to open his own local card shop in addition to his full-time job.  He continued to exhibit at all of the local card shows and the business began to thrive.  Unfortunately this was just before the junk wax era of the mid 1990's.   Although he ultimately decided to close the shop, he never lost interest in the hobby and was still a collector.  

It wasn't long until the internet became a strong e-commerce market for sports cards and memorabilia.  With many years of card sales on Ebay, Facebook and other platforms he gained a long list of local customers who would ask if he had a shop.  In this business climate having a brick & mortar store just didn't make good financial sense.  But it was important to him to offer a local solution to his customer base.

This desire gave birth to "House of Cards."  A local card shop that is literally at his home.  Located at the in-law apartment of his house you will find a full blown sports card and memorabilia shop.  It is in this home that you will find single cards, sealed wax packs and boxes, autographed photos and memorabilia, supplies and more!  There is even a live break streaming studio!!  The shop also hosts local customers during live breaks so they can be part of the action.
